Our client is an industry leader in apparel, accessories, home, and gifting based in Midtown NYC in need of a Key Account Executive.

Salary: $90K – $100K DOE plus benefits

Position Overview: We are looking for a driven Key Account Executive with experience to work with major accounts, such as Walmart.

Responsibilities of the Key Account Executive:

  • Sell all categories of product from both apparel, home, and gift divisions
  • Initiative sales in your accounts through product and market knowledge
  • Foster relationships at multiple customers through clear communication and setting appropriate expectations
  • Bring in new business through cold calling, researching new opportunities, knowledge of competitors and prospecting leads
  • Close deals by generating new sales and financially manage accounts to meet goals to maximize overall division growth
  • Strategize sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve Key Account Executive’s goals
  • Analyze sales to be able to forecast and project appropriate goals

Qualifications for the Key Account Executive:

  • Must have 5-10 years of comparable sales experience, preferably in apparel
  • In depth knowledge of various channels of retail distribution, including specific hands on working experience with MVR’s (Walmart) and retailer requirements (item set up, retailer systems, POS reporting, etc.)
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • eCommerce experience
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications (Excel)
