Our client is an international consumer goods company with a mission to create affordable and sustainable products (ranging from skin care, makeup, lip, hair care, and eye cosmetics) for the global community. They are currently seeking a Lab Coordinator to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$17/hr – $23/hr Depending on relevant experience

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Lab Coordinator to join the company in its lab facilities in Sayerville, NJ. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to join a company that prioritizes being environmentally conscious. The Lab Coordinator will be expected to support the Lab team in the lab by managing documentation, data entry, and project timelines. The Lab Coordinator will also act as liaison with other departments. This position is onsite 5 days a week. Students and recent graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered for junior level positions.

Responsibilities of the Lab Coordinator:

  • Comfortably work in an independent start-up atmosphere while following cGMP/GLP regulations
  • Keep track of comprehensive and accurate test results
  • Work upon multiple projects as required
  • Responsible for data collection/organization and process data for analysis
  • Be up-to-date on databases and programs used by the department to act as a subject matter expert
  • Monitor the project timeline to ensure milestones are met in a timely manner

Qualifications of the Lab Coordinator:

  • Must demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in proactively identifying and proposing solutions to issues that may arise
  • Must be comfortable working within a laboratory setting and be knowledgeable about the requirements of operating & maintaining a laboratory
  • Strong computer skills is necessary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the company
  • Writing skills consistent with the ability to prepare concise, timely, and accurate reports
  • Prior relevant industry experience is greatly desired and will be taken into account regarding salary

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the STEM sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, etc.) is required
