$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Lab Technician holds a central role in the creative process, specializing in the formulation and development of exceptional fragrances for various applications. The Lab Technician conduct thorough data analysis, interpret results, and provide insights to inform the next stages of fragrance development, ensuring a unique and marketable product.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

  • Develop and implement experimental designs that align with performance and sensory metrics to create prototype fragrances
  • Perform a variety of standard and non-standard tests to gather critical data on fragrance performance and uniqueness
  • Maintain meticulous records of experiments, including formulations, ingredient sources, and sensory evaluations
  • Manage inventories of ingredients, ensuring a well-stocked and organized laboratory
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, in accordance with corporate policies and industry standards

Qualifications for the Lab Technician:

  • Demonstrated prior laboratory experience in either an industrial or academic environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work seamlessly as part of a collaborative team

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Perfumery, or a related field is preferred
