Our client is an international consumer goods company with a mission to create affordable and sustainable products (ranging from skin care, makeup, lip, hair care, and eye cosmetics) for the global community. They are seeking a Laboratory Coordinator to join them in their facilities in Sayreville, NJ.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$17 – $23/hr

Position Overview:

This is a unique opportunity for an individual to join a company that prioritizes being environmentally conscious. The Laboratory Coordinator will be expected to support the lab team in the lab by managing documentation, data entry and project timelines. The Laboratory Coordinator will also act as liaison with other departments. This position is onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities of the Laboratory Coordinator:

  • Be comfortable working in an independent start-up atmosphere while following cGMP/GLP regulations
  • Keep track of comprehensive and accurate test results
  • Working upon multiple projects as required
  • Responsible for data collection/organization and processes data for analysis
  • Required to be up to date on databases and programs used by the department to act as a subject matter expert
  • Monitor project timeline to ensure milestone are met in a timely manner

Qualifications for the Laboratory Coordinator:

  • Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in proactively identifying and proposing solutions to issues that may arise
  • Must be comfortable working within a laboratory setting and knowledgeable about the requirements of operating & maintaining a laboratory
  • Strong computer skills is necessary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the company
  • Writing skills consistent with the ability to prepare concise, timely and accurate reports
  • Prior relevant industry experience is greatly desired and will be taken into account regarding salary

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in the STEM sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, etc) is required
