Our client a Chemical company near Passaic, NJ is in search of a Laboratory Technician who is available full time M-F. This role is an immediate need. Entry level candidates, including May 2022 graduates, welcome to apply! Chemistry experience highly preferred.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18 – $23/hr

Position Overview:

The Laboratory Technician will assist in formulations for products and be utilizing analytical chemistry techniques. The Laboratory Technician will use GLP, analytical chemistry, formulations, pH, viscometer, and density.

Responsibilities of the Laboratory Technician:

  • Will be assisting with formulations
  • Keeping track of chemicals, raw materials, prep samples
  • Maintain a detailed laboratory notebook of experimental data

Qualifications for the Laboratory Technician:

  • Ability to learn fast
  • Basic lab experience
  • Analytical Chemistry experience a plus but not required
  • HPLC experience a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the sciences of Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering or related field is required
