Laboratory Technician

Our client is an established personal care company with global reach and is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their fragrance team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18 – $20/hr Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

The Laboratory Technician will help prepare fragrance samples in a fast-paced environment. The Laboratory Technician will work in the lab preparing fragrance samples by applying fragrances to a base.

Responsibilities of the Laboratory Technician:

• Evaluate and troubleshoot products
• Prepare solutions, bases, and dilutions
• Assist with other applications functions as required
• Maintain laboratory records and inventory

Qualifications for the Laboratory Technician:

• 0 to 3 years of lab experience in an academic or professional laboratory
• Completed academic chemistry lab courses
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually
• Passion for fragrances

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or related science is highly preferred
