Lead Software Developer

Our client, a growing leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Lead Software Developer to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$130k – $150k DOE

Position Overview:

The Lead Software Developer will be highly collaborative and have an interest in career growth. The Lead Software Developer will be experienced with building scalable, responsive web applications and web services using technologies such as C#, Web API, TypeScript, and JavaScript. This person will be responsible for the full development life-cycle from planning through successful release and support. This position can be fully remote.

Responsibilities of the Lead Software Developer:

• Lead the daily activities for a team of developers and quality engineering associates
• Ensure software solutions delivered by the team meet the expectations of all stakeholders
• Full-stack development including front end, business logic, and data access layers
• Participate in decision-making concerning software architecture and design and code reviews
• Mentor and assist in the training and onboarding of other team members

Qualifications of the Lead Software Developer:

• 7+ years in a development role with lead responsibilities or as a team lead in an Agile environment
• Expertise with C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
• Experience with frameworks such as Node.js and React
• Experience building RESTful web services using Web API
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, or other relational databases

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Master’s degree is preferred
