Salary/Hourly Rate:
$70k – $80k
Position Overview:
The Lease Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining lease agreements, ensuring compliance with lease terms, and supporting the real estate and property management teams. This role involves tracking lease obligations, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records to optimize lease portfolio performance.
Responsibilities of the Lease Administrator:
- The Lease Administrator will review, interpret, and ensure compliance with lease agreements and other real estate documents.
- The Lease Administrator will maintain lease records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Process rent payments, security deposits, and other financial obligations related to leases.
- The Lease Administrator will track lease expirations, renewals, and critical dates, providing timely notifications to relevant parties.
- Assist in lease negotiations, amendments, and terminations.
- Communicate with landlords, tenants, legal teams, and internal departments regarding lease-related matters.
- The Lease Administrator will generate reports on lease portfolio performance, financial obligations, and compliance status.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- The Lease Administrator will utilize lease administration software to streamline lease tracking and document management.
Required Experience/Skills for the Lease Administrator:
- 2+ years of experience in lease administration, property management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of lease agreements, real estate contracts, and financial obligations.
- Proficiency in lease management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar lease management software.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree is preferred.
