Our client, a global manufacturer that provides a wide array of equipment and products to various industries. They are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55,000 – $63,000

Position Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination and monitoring of all aspects of the transportation of goods within the supply chain. Also the Logistics Coordinator have responsibility to ensure all shipments are moved in compliance with all laws and regulations.

Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments daily
  • Work with carrier’s customs clearance agents, customs, US Department of Commerce to clear shipments urgently and deliver in a timely manner
  • Prepare and process insurance claims for lost or damaged goods
  • Dispute invoices with a carrier when applicable
  • Special projects

Qualifications for the Logistics Coordinator:

  • MS Office with strong Excel skills
  • SAP and Transportation Management Software (TMS)
  • Comply with current ISO Standards

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree is required
