Our client is a real estate investment trust, focused on investing in and managing luxury residential communities across the United States. Our client is looking for a passionate Community Manager to oversee a flagship asset in Boston, MA.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$85,000 – $105,000

Position Overview:

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing a demanding 400+ unit luxury residential property in Boston, MA. The Community Manager will directly supervise property admins, leasing consultants and concierge staff. The ideal Community Manager candidate will have experience working in property management in the Boston market and will have experience managing a team.

Responsibilities of the Community Manager:

  • Oversee daily operations of 400+ residential units in a luxury apartment building in Boston, MA
  • Supervise and train a team consisting of property managers and leasing consultants, sharing tips on sales strategies and customer service
  • Assist with leasing and renewals as needed
  • Implement property marketing efforts, conduct property tours and help increase curb appeal
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and rent collection
  • Consistently run and analyze reports pertaining to property health including revenue reports, occupancy reports and turnover reports
  • Implement pricing strategies and creative value-add strategies to improve revenue
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to make sure that issues are handled in an efficiency and timely manner
  • Create and update operating budget and make plans for capital improvements as needed
  • Build strong community relationships and encourage close resident relations
  • Reports in to the Regional Manager

Qualifications for the Community Manager:

  • 5+ years of property management experience, preferably in luxury residential real estate
  • 2+ years of experience managing a tea

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
