Manager of Finance and Accounting

Our client, a multinational supply chain and logistics company, is looking for a Manager of Finance and Accounting to join their team in their Santa Fe Springs office. The Manager of Finance and Accounting will have 8 years of financial experience, with 5 of those years being in a leadership role.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$95k – $150k Depending on experience

Position Overview:

As the Manager of Finance and Accounting, you will lead the Finance team as a pertinent business partner providing planning, business analyses, and support for the US Global Freight and Corporate team. The Manager of Finance and Accounting will have industry experience in either freight forwarding or logistics. An individual that is a strong analytical thinking and a hands-on manager will excel in this role.

Responsibilities of the Manager of Finance and Accounting:

• Manage the Accounting team and all their functions to support daily operations and business needs
• Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting to present to corporate management
• Improve and implement system enhancement projects for compliance and internal controls

Qualifications for the Manager of Finance and Accounting:

• 8 years in financial management
• 5 years in a controllership role with people management experience
• Industry experience in freight forwarding or logistics

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, or AICPA equivalent is required
