Marketing Specialist

Our client, a leader in the industry, is looking for a temporary Marketing Specialist to assist with digital marketing and graphic design work 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$40/hr

Position Overview:

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for a mix of digital, print, presentation, graphic design, and light video. The Marketing Specialist must have experience working in SharePoint. This role will be a cross between graphic design and project management. The Marketing Specialist role is a 6-month contract, with 3 days required on site and 1 day remote, a total of 4 working days a week.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist:

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously where you can organize, plan, execute, and deliver on time and hit deadlines
• Bring innovative ideas to plan and create marketing materials (e.g. infographics, social media posts, retractable posters, digital signage, PowerPoint presentations, SharePoint sites, etc.)
• Develop templates for e-blasts, SharePoint sites, Microsoft Teams communities, etc. You must be able follow brand guidelines (i.e, maintain brand identity across all channels including typography)
• Create videos that are on-trend and engaging for the multi-generational, diverse audience
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to execute creative campaigns while working through multiple design iterations

Qualifications for the Marketing Specialist:

• Microsoft Office Guru including Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Word, Stream, and Excel
• Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator experience is required
• Video editing experience (e.g. Camtasia, After Effects, or similar) is required
• Social media posting (producing creative and content) is required
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
