Responsibilities of the Media and Public Relations Coordinator:

  • Help plan and deliver PR and/or marketing deliverables to clients/coworkers
  • Administrative duties such as copying, filing, emailing
  • Suggest innovative ideas in brainstorming sessions with the team
  • Edit and proof-read press releases as an extra eye
  • Maintain order and organization
  • Research and update on client’s PR needs

Qualifications for the Media and Public Relations Coordinator:

  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Have a solid understanding of marketing and PR strategies
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
