Our client, a reputable and well-respected tech startup company, is seeking a Media & Public Relations Coordinator to help establish a stronger social media presence and build a better relationship with their consumers. The Media & Public Relations Coordinator must be a well-rounded, ambitious, and organized person who is seeking to grow and expand alongside our client.

Position Overview:

The Media & Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for not only administrative tasks for their team but for keeping up-to-date on social and press events and creating media and PR content for the company. The Media & Public Relations Coordinator is a crucial member of the company and helps create positive perceptions of their clients.

Responsibilities of the Media & Public Relations Coordinator:

  • Perform administrative duties such as faxing, copying, and emailing
  • Demonstrate advanced customer service and communication skills
  • Proofread and edit releases and media content
  • Track media metrics and social media presence of clients
  • Coordinate and deliver email campaigns
  • Consistently help brainstorm new ideas for awareness

Qualifications of the Media & Public Relations Coordinator:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative
  • Advanced research skills
  • Proficiency with CRM and database software

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is required
