Our client is a leading healthcare provider in Boston looking to add a Member Services Representative to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$17/hr – $19/hr
Position Overview:
The Member Services Representative will be working in a call center environment, with responsibilities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, coordinating care, answering questions, and data entry. Member Services Representatives require patience and empathy, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to complete any job regardless of how big or how small to support the Clinical team. This position will be an ongoing contract and fully remote, but there will be some onsite training for the initial 4 weeks.
Responsibilities of the Member Services Representative:
- Answering phones and triage to appropriate department
- Overseeing general office administrative-type tasks such as recording notes and data entry
- Scheduling appointments and following up with patients
- Answering patient questions and addressing concerns
- Supporting basic calendar management
Qualifications for the Member Services Representative:
- 1 – 2 years prior administrative, receptionist, or call center experience required
- Clinical or Healthcare facility experience preferred
- Must be a self starter and have a go-getter personality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn, grow, and receive feedback
- Positive team player
- Ability to connect and communicate with a diverse population group
- Typing, data entry, and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Professional approach with strong communication skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
