Our client, is a Manhattan based men’s lifestyle brand. They are small with big business volume across all major retailers and seeking a Men’s Wholesale Account Executive, based in NYC.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $60K – $65K

Position Overview: The Men’s Wholesale Account Executive will be working very closely with the founder/creative director of the brand to execute all wholesale for the brand. The Men’s Wholesale Account Executive must be a team player, sales driven, and have a strong foundation of key relationships. They Executive will run all market appointments out of the Manhattan Showroom and occasionally travel for trade shows and store visits.

Responsibilities of the Men’s Wholesale Account Executive:

  • Develop and strengthen client relationships with buyers, department stores, e-commerce sites, and specialty store accounts
  • Ensure the highest possible customer service and follow through on orders and deliveries
  • Manage, book and carry out showroom appointments seasonally & on an as-needed basis
  • Spear-head & manage the setup and disassembly of showroom collections
  • Provides clear & concise recaps of the business on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis including profitability analysis and sell through feedback from the accounts
  • Create product knowledge materials, retail floor-set guides and visual merchandising standards, all while following our brand look and aesthetic
  • Review and approve all orders for stock availability, delivery and routing requests
  • Place and follow up on all Wholesale orders, payments, and shipments for our seasonal and core products
  • Maintain collaborative partnerships with internal & external partners to ensure they are delivering within desired service levels while working together to resolve when issues or delays may happen
  • Perform cost analysis to ensure proper margins can be met for both the brand and Retail partners
  • Be hands-on and willing to assist in other areas of the business when necessary

Qualifications for the Men’s Wholesale Account Executive:

  • 2-3 years of experience in men’s wholesale
  • Strong relationships with key retailers (Target, Stitch Fix, Zappos)
  • Experience in working with majors
  • Strong understanding of retail math
  • Must be able to analyze S/T
  • Team-player attitude, desire to join a small team with a big business volume
