Client Overview:

Our client, a well-known retailer specializing in women’s clothing and accessories, is looking to bring on a talented Merchandising Assistant to contribute to store organization.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $22/hr

Position Overview:

The Merchandising Assistant will oversee the aesthetic design and branding of our client’s boutique store. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will use your creativity and strategically implement visual marketing strategies for store displays and fashion production selections to help maximize sales and engage the customers.

Responsibilities of the Merchandising Assistant:

  • Understand fashion trends and customer preferences to implement the store’s merchandising style.
  • Assist the in-house merchandising team to design and arrange displays.
  • Manage inventory and ensure stock turnover.
  • Maintain the overall aesthetic and organization of the store.

Qualifications for the Merchandising Assistant:

  • 0 – 2 years of experience in merchandising or a similar role in retail fashion. Internships are a plus.
  • Excellent communication abilities with coworkers and customers.
  • Exceptional creativity and strategic planning skills.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Excel.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
