Our client is a non-profit currently seeking to hire a Network Engineer to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$105k

Position Overview:

The Network Engineer will recommend hardware and software to meet the organization’s IT needs, as well as manage the roll-out of new equipment and systems as needed, and ensure that corrective and preventative measures are performed on legacy infrastructure.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

  • Manage LAN/WAN, firewalls, wireless, voice, and audio conferencing
  • Support, implement, and manage Cisco platform for Routing (EIGRP, BGP, and static routing)
  • Support, implement, and manage Cisco / Meraki platform for switching and Cisco ISE for 802.1x authentication
  • Take charge of planning/monitoring/installing/configurations
  • Recommend hardware and software to meet the organization’s IT needs

Qualifications for the Network Engineer:

  • Must be a jack of all trades/generalist in the network space
  • Strong understanding of available network operating systems, network equipment, and networking protocols is essential
  • Ability to create and implement wireless network designs
  • Strong knowledge and ability to support, implement, and manage Cisco/Meraki wireless infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting methodologies

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
  • CCNA certification is required
  • CCNA-Wireless preferred
