Our client, a growing museum in the education space, is looking to bring on an Office Assistant to support their chief administrative office. This is a great opportunity to join an amazing team while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr – $22/hr ($45k)
Position Overview:
The Office Assistant will help with the daily business operations of the Museum. The office assistant will help provide administrative support including program coordination, event planning, and office management. The Office Assistant will interact with vendors and with other departments throughout the museum. The Office Assistant should be a jack of all trades with strong communication and organizational skills. The Office Assistant will be a crucial team member in the overall experience of running a fast-paced and growing museum.
Responsibilities of the Office Assistant:
- Assist with event planning for major events
- Database and research projects
- Answer and direct phone calls and urgently respond to emails
- Manage schedules and travel arrangements
- Organize departmental meetings and prepare conference rooms
Qualifications of the Office Assistant:
- At least one year of administrative experience
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Hardworking and personable team player
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Tech-savvy
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
