Our client, a growing marketing company, is looking for an Office Assistant to join their energetic and growing company.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $18-22/hour, $48-55K

Position Overview: The Office Assistant will be the first point of contact upon visitors arriving into the office. The Office Assistant will be responsible for giving visitors and guests directions to various parts of the office, notifying employees upon visitor arrivals and answering phones. It is important that this Office Assistant is able to execute many responsibilities while working in a busy and ever-changing environment. The Office Assistant will be the main point of contact so strong interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities of the Office Assistant:

  • Provide high level customer service and hospitality to clients
  • Coordinate and plan office events and parties
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal employees
  • Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative
  • Answering phones and direct calls
  • General office duties such as mailing, copying, faxing
  • Document preparation and data entry
  • Organizing and setting up meetings

Qualifications for the Office Assistant:

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communicative, planning and organizational skills
  • Willingness and ability to work with several different personalities
  • Friendly and professional phone and email etiquette
  • Ability to be proactive and take on responsibilities without direction
  • Attention to detail

Education Requirements:
