Our client, an international specialty firm, is responsible for state-of-the-art technology updates. At the moment, they are looking to hire a Office Assistant.

Salary/Rate: $15/hr temp | $18/hr perm

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified Office Assistant to assist the Executive Assistant and senior management with a wide array of support and office management.

Responsibilities of the Office Assistant:

  • Assist the Executive Assistant and other C-level executives with administrative tasks
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook on a regular basis
  • Arrange domestic and complex international travel in several different time zones
  • Manage each department’s communications including prompt phone calls, e-mails and faxes
  • Responsible for miscellaneous office tasks including watering plants, cleaning office equipment, and tracking inventory
  • Be the main point of contact for all FedEx and UPS shipments
  • Be ready and willing to assist with all project-based tasks including: maintaining databases, data entry, filing and mail distribution

Qualifications for the Office Assistant:

  • 1-3 years of previous administrative experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Previous exposure to international travel and calendaring a huge plus
  • Able to multi task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and people skills
  • Self-directed, organized, and self-motivated
  • Ability to accurately and timely execute tasks

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
