A well established construction organization in the Greater Pittsburgh Area is looking to hire an Office Manager.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$45,000 – $55,000

Position Overview:

The Office Manager will be solely responsible for the organization’s union and multi-state weekly and bi-weekly payroll, accounts payable, and various administrative duties. The Office Manager should have high attention to details and can work unsupervised.

Office Manager Responsibilities:

Payroll

  • Fully process weekly and bi-weekly payroll (timecard entry, cutting checks, making deposits, 401k, etc.) for up to 90 individuals during busy season
  • Prepare federal, state, and local tax reports
  • Prepare union reports
  • Track/update union and benefits changes

Accounts Payable

  • Receive, distribute and enter invoice data
  • Enter purchase orders-Process weekly check run
  • Handle W-9’s, 1099’s, credit applications, etc.

Administrative

  • Open/distribute mail
  • Answer/field phone calls
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Other duties as requested

Office Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience performing full cycle payroll and accounts payable experience, preferably in a construction setting
  • Experience with multi-state payroll and unions is a MUST
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills required; experience using Foundation or similar software preferred
  • Ability to work in a small office setting with a small team

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
