Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100,000 – $120,000

Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager you will be tasked with providing full operational oversight for the manufacturing facility. The Operations Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor to increase productivity. The ideal candidate will come from a CPG manufacturing facility with the knowledge and experience to create and implement SOPs.

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

• Formulate and recommend policies and procedures that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation
• Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce costs in all areas
• Manage both warehouse associates from within the organization, as well as temp agencies
• Maximizing performance and developing throughout
• Oversee the MPS and ensure the procurement is purchasing the necessary materials and equipment needed for production
• Manage, direct, and implement operations strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of corporate goals with a focus on short-term and long-term goals
• Coordinates communication with staff, maintenance, and other departments to ensure effective operations and to meet the production requirements of internal and external customers
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse; equipment inspections; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
• Continuously strive for an improved customer satisfaction rate through the implementation of procedures to reduce delinquencies, provide on-time delivery, and meet customer quality and cost expectations
• Ensure FTE budgets are met while fully staffing the warehouse

Qualifications for the Operations Manager:

• 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing managerial experience
• Bi-Lingual Spanish is preferred
• Consumer packaged goods experience
• Microsoft D365 & Power BI a plus

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required
