Our client is a global incubator within the cosmetics industry. Specializing in designing and manufacturing exclusive brands and private labels for mass, drug and specialty retailers. With offices in 6 countries across the globe, they look to continue to be an industry leader in the cosmetics industry. And they are seeking an Operations Specialist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27 – $35/hr Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

As the Operations Specialist, you will provide E2E operational support to your respective brand. The Operations Specialist will oversee the EDI process while simultaneously providing inventory and logistical support to your team & client.

Responsibilities of the Operations Specialist:

  • EDI Knowledge – Setup, & troubleshooting for ASN issues
  • Collect accounts: review warehouse emails, download excel files from EDI portal and our ERP system and send emails to AR
  • Work with Sales on an urgent fixture replacement project, will need to gather information from sales to get us up to date in the shipping of these items
  • Provides logistics support including coordination and prioritization of planned shipments as well as shipment tracking and troubleshooting distribution related issues
  • Maintain continuity of supply by replenishing and conducting procurement activities for a global portfolio of consumer goods items
  • Analyze inventory requirements and maintain inventory levels in accordance with management guidelines

Qualifications for the Operations Specialist:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communications skills in a multi-cultural environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated team building skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain is required
