Order Fulfillment Manager

Our client is a leading luxury e-commerce organization offering access to luxury collections, fine jewelry, home décor, and beauty from emerging and established luxury designers. They are now looking for an Order Fulfillment Manager.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $100k

Position Overview:

The Order Fulfillment Manager will oversee daily operations within a high-volume distribution center that supports fast-paced, high-touch luxury order fulfillment, including same-day delivery for select markets. This Order Fulfillment Manager role is critical in bridging day-to-day warehouse operations with senior leadership and requires a strong people-management background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities of the Order Fulfillment Manager:

• Oversee end-to-end luxury fulfillment operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and same-day delivery workflows.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality order processing aligned with customer SLAs, brand expectations, and luxury service standards.
• Lead, train, and develop warehouse associates, supervisors, and coordinators to uphold a premium fulfillment experience.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflows to support efficiency, accuracy, and luxury-level presentation.
• Implement, track, and communicate performance metrics including order accuracy, productivity, inventory accuracy, and same-day delivery performance.
• Collaborate with Inventory, Logistics, Customer Service, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain a seamless premium customer journey.
• Forecast labor needs and manage staffing levels based on seasonal luxury peaks and order volume trends.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and internal operational protocols.
• Support WMS enhancements, automation initiatives, and technology upgrades that elevate fulfillment performance.
• Champion a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and luxury service excellence.

Required Experience/Skills for the Order Fulfillment Manager:

• 4 – 7 years of experience in distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse operations, ideally within e-commerce or luxury retail.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of WMS, inventory systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience managing hourly teams in high-volume, fast-paced fulfillment environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, including fast-turn and same-day delivery operations.
• Experience with lean processes, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Education Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
