Our client is seeking an Overnight IT Support Specialist to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$80k – $100k
Position Overview:
The Overnight IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to global users for a 24/7 helpdesk. The hours for this position are Sunday 9 pm – 7 am, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2 am to 12 pm. This position can be fully remote or onsite in NYC if the candidate wants to come onsite. The Overnight IT Support Specialist may be asked to cover other shifts and overtime as needed.
Responsibilities of the Overnight IT Support Specialist:
- Monitor emails and voicemails received from end users and resolve problems in a timely matter
- Provide mobile device support, both Android and iOS
- Run scheduled system tests
- Troubleshoot basic networking issues, maintain knowledge of IP, and basic server administration
- Monitor network and system alerts and respond appropriately
- Produce status reports and turnover logs
- Troubleshoot remote access problems (RSA Administration, VPN, Citrix)
- Manage workflow by inputting accurate problem description and resolution data in ITSM system for all help requests received
Qualifications for the Overnight IT Support Specialist:
- IT Support experience in a law firm is strongly preferred
- Experience with Active Directory Administration
- Extensive knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with document management systems (preferably NetDocs)
- Mobile device support – both Android and iOS
- Experience with BlackBerry work is a plus
- Experience in an ACD (automated call distribution) environment is preferred
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
