Our client, one of the top Media and Entertainment companies based in NYC is currently seeking a Payroll Associate to join their growing team! In this role, you will have direct exposure to some of the most influential leaders in the organization. The team takes great pride in their commitment to fostering growth and development in their entry level accounting staff.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$23 – $28/hr

Position Overview:

The Payroll Associate will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accuracy of timesheets across all divisions, maintain payroll systems, and process payroll. The Payroll Associate will process all payroll transactions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Associate:

  • Check Timesheets for Accuracy
  • Process payroll changes
  • Enter data into databases
  • Perform Daily Payroll operations
  • Process employee data
  • Ad-Hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Payroll Associate:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a role with exposure to payroll for an organization of at least 50 employees
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
