Our client, a reputable manufacturing company is looking for a Payroll Clerk to join their team based out of Winter Haven, FL. This is an incredible opportunity for a professional to join a rapidly growing company with fantastic corporate culture.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$45,000 – $50,000 (overtime eligible)
Position Overview:
The Payroll Clerk reports to the Controller and will be the point of contract for processing payroll and handling all payroll related inquires. The ideal Payroll Clerk has excellent written and spoken communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk:
- Responsible for processing all payroll and payroll related inquires
- Responsible for process wage garnishment and deductions
- Ensure all payroll files are properly documented, and filed properly to ensure compliance with companies’ policies
- Work alongside senior accountants to ensure accuracy of general ledger
Qualifications for the Payroll Clerk:
- 3+ years of equivalent work experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel proficiency)
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred but is not required
