Our client, a tech start up company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the company. In this role, you will be working closely with the Payroll Manager and Human Resources.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27 – $30/hr

Position Overview:

In this position as the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible the payroll reporting, commissions, helping with on-boarding and off-boarding of employees. And as a Payroll Specialist you will be helping with insurance plans and more!

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

  • Help manage and maintain Insurance plans for employees
  • Make sure payroll reporting is done in a timely manner
  • Help with On-boarding and termination of employees

Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

  • 1 to 2 years in a Payroll position
  • ADP experience is a MUST
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong communication

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required
