Our client, a large retail company, is looking to add a Payroll Specialist to their Human Resource Team.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $22 – $26

Position Overview: The Payroll Specialist will ensure employees are paid for total hours work in addition to schedule and non schedule PTO. Attention to detail is important as all inputs need to be correct. Candidate needs to be comfortable working with a 10,000 employee roster on a biweekly basis.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

  • Track paid and unpaid time off associate and category
  • Review time submission for accuracy and completeness
  • Control and distribute checks as defined by site policy
  • Resolve payroll issues in a timely manner
  • Generate payroll, turnover and other reports as needed

Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

  • Excel Knowledge: Pivot Table and v-lookups
  • High Volume Payroll
  • Attention to detail

Education Requirements:

  • Associates Degree required
