Our client is a well-known luxury company that specializes in high-end men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. They are currently seeking a Planning Coordinator to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55k – $65k Depending on experience

Position Overview:

The Planning Coordinator will be working closely with the Planning and Merchandising teams to ensure the accurate execution of allocation and planning strategies for retail, wholesale, and e-commerce. The Planning Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining inventory, supporting all planning functions, allocations, and in-season performance analysis.

Responsibilities of the Planning Coordinator:

  • Review and manage inventory levels for replenishment strategies
  • Monitor product flow through omni-channels using weekly sales analyses and inventory reports
  • Compile assortment analysis to determine order quantities by style, color, and size
  • Create and track the RTV list
  • Support the Buying team in open-to-buys and inventory planning
  • Analyze weekly selling reports and make recommendations based on business trends for allocation
  • Assist in creating production plans by volume group and current POS performance at the style/color/size level
  • Monitor and develop merchandise consolidation and transfers in store to maximize profitability and margin performance for full price and markdowns

Qualifications of the Planning Coordinator:

  • Retail math skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent Excel experience (pivot tables and Vlookups)
  • Ability to meet deadline demands

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
