They are the leading manufacturer of cloud & electronic-based solutions. Our client is currently seeking a Platform Procurement Manager for their NJ team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k – $120k

Position Overview:

The Platform Procurement Manager will be responsible for the full end-to-end supply/demand optimization.

Responsibilities of the Platform Procurement Manager:

  • Work with a global supply base and internal stakeholders to address and resolve supply-related issues to meet on-time / in-full metrics and PO compliance (required dates, batch/lot numbers, etc.)
  • Understand demand from master schedulers and plan supply with suppliers to ensure healthy inventories
  • Understand root causes for shortages and drive actions to recover in the fastest possible duration
  • Responsible for “vendor management”, including contract management, cost and fulfillment management, and capacity management
  • Responsible for vendor “partnership” for business engagement with vendors in a professional model for long-term growth
  • Identify replenishment and procurement improvement opportunities and work with suppliers and/or internal stakeholders to implement solutions
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of on-time / in-full metric as well as other replenishment, supplier performance, and cost savings metrics

Qualifications of the Platform Procurement Manager:

  • Minimum 6 years of direct experience in a procurement and supply chain function in the Computer OEM/ODM Manufacturing or Server System Solution industry. An understanding of server products is preferred
  • Proficiency in procurement and supply chain principles and skills
  • Advanced knowledge of order management, fulfillment concepts, and processes
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
