Position Overview: In this role, you will partner with the design, international, copy and production groups to create and finalize seasonal design mechanicals that are set to exact print specifications. You will need to maintain a high level of accuracy, quality and creative integrity in final printed product. The Print Production Specialist will liaison with the visual, eComm, store ops, and marketing departments to supply them with the finished marketing assets from the studio.

Responsibilities of the Print Production Specialist:

Partner with the creative group during concept and design phase to ensure the viability and affordability of seasonal marketing sets
Prepare mechanicals of approved marketing sets and see sets through prepress layout and proofing process
Utilize thorough knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and color, to create, alter or edit artwork for use in mechanicals
Utilize knowledge and experience to create original design pieces
Utilize thorough knowledge of all print processes (4-color, PMS, Die Lines, etc.) and how specific print processes affect execution of final artwork
Manage production specific issues with the production team
Ensure files being sent out are clean and technically correct
Release final files for the printer; release hi-res PDFs to retouching department for color proofing output

Qualifications for the Print Production Specialist:

Excellent working knowledge of, and experience in CS Cloud (on a Mac)
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in executing pre-press/studio work
Working knowledge of MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time and project management skills
Ability to multitask under pressure
Highly organized, creative and logical thinker

Bachelor’s Degree
