They are seeking a Product Development Operations Manager to join them! Building upon core strengths in print, pattern and color, this company continues to evolve, always focused on respect for the consumer, each other, and on our global trading and manufacturing partners.

Position Overview:

The Product Development Operations Manager will oversee product development, sourcing, and operations of Accessories. The Product Development Operations Manager will develop products in collaboration with Sr. Account Manager and Design and ensure to develop the right product at price at great value and quality with existing vendor capabilities.

Responsibilities of the Product Development Operations Manager:

  • Manage Customer and Vendor TNA calendars. Sample WIP cutting, tracking, and coordinating with design to meet delivery targets
  • Ensure data integrity for assigned product categories and accounts by keeping line sheets and recap sheets updated
  • Manage sourcing by research and drive innovation in fabrics, yarns, new product technology, sustainability, new resources and factories
  • Manage cost engineering and negotiation to achieve best value/cost from vendors
  • Maintain pricing tools and PLM cost sheets
  • Manage passing/releasing production orders to production team and have a liaison with logistics/customer care team to ensure stock is delivered on time to customers
  • Meet with existing vendors periodically in collaboration with production team on operational issues

Qualifications for the Product Development Operations Manager:

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Product Development and Operations
  • Systems knowledge and proficiency, PLM, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
