Our client is an organization in the food & beverage industry looking to add a Production Planner to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $80k

Position Overview:

The primary objective of the Production Planner is to utilize available resources to plan production according to customer satisfaction. The Production Planner will identify and schedule production efficiently to ensure capacity is met.

Responsibilities of the Production Planner:

  • Actively participating in site safety initiatives to foster a safety culture that is inclusive and promotes positivity.
  • Supervising and monitoring production process orders to address issues and ensure timely delivery to our customers.
  • Collaborating with the team to create and maintain a daily production plan that optimizes plant capacity and resources, considering efficiency, and cost savings to meet customer demand.
  • Understanding the effects on inventory and effectively managing factors such as product seasonality, discontinuation, and finished goods inventory control.
  • Continuously striving for enhanced competitiveness by continuously improving processes and systems.

Qualifications for the Production Planner:

  • Exhibits exceptional communication and team-building abilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Capable of consistently meeting deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments and open to managing changing demands.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
