Our client, is one of the largest suppliers for the food & beverage industry, servicing over 100,000 restaurants across 5 continents. Founded in the mid 1900’s, they strive for superior quality of not only their product, but their service. They are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65,000 – $75,000

Position Overview:

They are looking for a passionate Production Supervisor to drive production efforts across the manufacturing floor. The Production Supervisor will work in tandem with the Production & Operations Managers to execute strategic initiatives within the facility.

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

  • Ensure the overall productivity of the Production floor meets or exceeds established standards
  • Communicate and report monthly initiatives, programs, and successes, as well as measure, track and report on compliance, exceptions, and feedback on a quarterly basis
  • Develops and maintains manufacturing schedules for their assigned shift
  • Work closely with the management team for continuous improvement throughout the line
  • Provide continuous improvement to the production team, developing and promoting from within
  • Evaluate and improve upon established SOPs ensuring the warehouse is running effectively
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse; equipment inspections; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
  • Troubleshoot work activities through technical knowledge of WMS system
  • KPI tracking for productivity, safety, quality, and costs
  • Manage the FTE for the assigned shift, ensuring the warehouse is staffed properly and within budget

Qualifications for the Production Supervisor:

  • 6+ years of relative experience within a food & beverage facility
  • Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, & other warehouse regulatory policies
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage change & develop personnel
  • Bi-Lingual Spanish is preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
