Our client is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization and is set to launch several projects for which a Project Coordinator will take charge of designing and implementing.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $23/hr

Position Overview:

This non-profit organization is looking for a Project Coordinator with strong time-management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and will need the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:

  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements as needed
  • Quickly respond to urgent matters, evaluate potential problems, provide solutions and dispatch team members or authorized vendors as needed
  • Aid in planning and managing team goals, project schedules, and new information
  • Assign tasks to cross-functional team members and assist with scheduling
  • Supervise and monitor current projects and coordinate with team members
  • Maintain project-related documents
  • Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, briefings, meeting minutes and emails
  • Adhere to the budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures

Qualifications of the Project Coordinator:

  • Two years of relevant experience in project coordinating
  • Experience sorting and managing data
  • Reliable form of transportation

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
