The firm’s expertise includes Temporary and Direct Hire Staffing, Payrolling Services, Independent Contractor Compliance, Managed Service Provider (MSP) Programs, RPO and Intern Program Design. Expanding business offerings to meet partner needs, Atrium has developed Engagent, a proprietary independent contractor compliance technology designed to support the evaluation process and overall management of Independent Contractors. Combining over 20 years of experience with the most advanced HR technologies, Atrium delivers top talent, heightened compliance and reduced operational burden. 

Currently, Atrium is seeking a Project Manager to drive revenue through implementing Atrium proprietary, licensed and partner technology internally and for clients.

Position Overview
: The Project Manager collaborates with the Director of Product Development and other management to successfully manage, secure funding and support sales for services including the Atrium technology portfolio. This role is key to keeping Atrium ahead of competition by delivering innovative solutions powered by best in class products (Atrium custom built or through a partner) that will make a difference in the market, from concept to commercialization. This also productizes current Atrium offerings to increase revenue through existing product channels.

Location: New York, NY, with travel to Atrium and client locations as needed

Key Areas of Responsibilities of the Project Manager include: Product Management, Implementation, Partner/Vendor Management, and Sales & Account Management

Product Management

  • Manage, maintain and optimize the Atrium technology portfolio including custom proprietary platforms and partner technologies: Engagent™, Video Resumes, Ascendify, Work Market, Lasso Workforce, and various VMS partners
  • Collaborate with Director of Product Development, Marketing, IT, and AMS Management team in maintaining and maximizing ROI of Ascendify Atrium Talent Community for AMS & Atrium Staffing
  • Serve as the Client Ascendify Product Manager for AMS client accounts maximizing recruitment efficiencies by leading implementation of talent community launch
  • Design customized client solutions utilizing Atrium technology portfolio
  • Learn and operate new client systems as requested


  • Collaborate with the Atrium and client project teams (and partner company team if applicable) to drive the approach, deliverables, schedule, and tools to deliver the project within the established constraints; track and communicate program goals and requirements as needed
  • Manage and control project scope and the change control process to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule
  • Make the rational and thoughtful trade-offs required to launch a product while maintaining a healthy team and business relationships; identify roadblocks before they occur and communicate to stakeholders appropriately
  • Run reoccurring Business Review meetings with internal team and Client to assess Program goals and requirements post launch
  • Support organization, planning and execution of new products and services while ensuring alliance with the Atrium brand and growth strategy

Partner/Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain successful strategic relationships with our technology partner companies, acting as the liaison and escalation point between Atrium and partner: Ascendify, Work Market, Lasso Workforce, and PeopleFluent
  • Collaborate with Director of Product Development to secure applicable technology partnership agreements
  • When new partnerships are secured, manage communication to Atrium teams displaying benefits of partnership
  • Identify opportunities for business growth among various Partnerships, i.e. utilize IT candidates in WorkMarket’s marketplace to allow Atrium to staff IT positions
  • Interface with partners to develop or enhance the marketing of their product(s) or product line(s)

Sales and Account Management

  • Support Atrium sales team by creating and sharing case studies and success stories of launched Value Add technology internally and with prospective clients
  • Provide demonstrations of Atrium (and partner) products internally and to clients, display synergies and applications to Atrium and client businesses
  • Assist sales staff and Product Development team in responding to RFIs and RFPs, particularly questions pertaining to technology and product development
  • Assist sales staff in creating presentations offering technical and strategic expertise. This includes solution design, workflows, diagrams or other visuals to communicate technical concepts and architectures to clients, prospects, internal stakeholders, and product partners

Qualifications for the Project Manager:

  • Project management experience, B2B experience preferred
  • Experience leading or co-leading a technology implementation
  • Strong understanding of the dynamics of cross-functional teams, with the ability to creatively problem solve
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and present to all client and internal stakeholders
  • Successful history of building and maintaining internal and external partner relationships at all levels
  • Passion for technology and innovation, specifically in the HR Technology and/or staffing space
  • Experience product managing platforms in the HR Technology realm a plus (ATS, VMS, CRM/TRM, video interviewing, onboarding, on-demand staffing, Talent Community)
  • Working knowledge of erecruit ATS/CRM, Oracle PeopleSoft HRIS, Avionte, Namely, or similar HCM technology a plus

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
