Our client is a leading manufacturer and marketer of personal care products. Our client also provides contract manufacturing services to other brands. They are currently seeking a Project Manager – Operations to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$110k to $125k Depending on experience

Position Overview:

The Project Manager – Operations will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Packaging, Creative, Operations and R&D to help bring new product innovations to fruition with a strong focus on supply chain execution and commercialization. This role will define, plan, track, and manage projects and programs, including providing the direction required to meet the project objectives and commitments (schedule, resource, cost, benefits, scope, and content).

Responsibilities of the Project Manager – Operations:

  • Manage the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and satisfaction of project requirements.
  • Provide management and strategic direction to a project team and share responsibility for the project development, budget, and schedule.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of project management from discovery through delivery implementation.
  • Responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining product codes and Bills of Materials for the corporation.
  • Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.
  • Lead cross-functional status meetings with key stakeholders to ensure projects are on track.
  • Assess system performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Anticipate and mitigate problems/obstacles.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Identify key project risks and manage to ensure the delivery of business goals.
  • Report on financial data for multiple projects.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations are required.

Qualifications of the Project Manager – Operations:

  • 5+ years experience in a CPG company with demonstrated success in project management.
  • Beauty products company in project management/operational role is preferred.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
  • Adaptability/ability to manage change.
  • Leadership skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Problem-solving/analytical thinking.
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills.
  • Functional knowledge of asset management and creative project management processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Demonstrated assessment, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SQL, NetSuite, Manhattan, PowerBI, Agile, and Demandcaster software is a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is desirable.
