Our client a well-established property management company with offices located across the United States. They boast a strong history of providing stellar customer service to their tenants. They are looking for an industrious and team-oriented Property Manager – Market Rate to join their growing Boston team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k – $90k
Position Overview:
As the Property Manager – Market Rate, you will act as a team leader, working alongside your team to ensure that the property is operating smoothly. The Property Manager – Market Rate will act as an industry expert ensuring that the property is competitively priced and the building’s occupancy rates are high. The Property Manager – Market Rate will be responsible for overseeing all of the business operations for a 500-unit property including the financial success of the property.
Responsibilities of the Property Manager – Market Rate:
- Responsible for managing a 500-unit market rate residential property in Brighton, MA.
- Identify market trends to ensure that future needs of the property are addressed and that the property staff have adequate training.
- Prioritize the curb appeal and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the property.
- Guide and train the team to ensure that they are using effective sales strategies to manage the leasing process.
- Partner with the Maintenance Manager to provide preventative maintenance, efficient repairs, and great customer service.
- Partner with the Regional Manager to prepare the budget, plan capital improvements, and handle negotiations.
- Manage the accounting processes for the property which includes processing invoices, paying bills and assisting the collections department.
- Act as a collaborative leader to train your team and solve any issues that arise.
- Utilize performance metrics to ensure that the property is maximizing its financial potential.
Qualifications of the Property Manager – Market Rate:
- 2+ years of experience as a Property Manager.
- Experience managing over 200 market rate residential units.
- Experience managing a Property Management team including an Assistant Property Manager and Maintenance team.
- Experience creating budgets and conducting variance analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
