Our client, a revolutionary and well-loved skincare brand, is seeking a temporary Public Relations Coordinator to support communications through media and influencer relations. Their company has a loyal following and is looking to continue their high growth with the help of influencer and press outreach programs.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

The Public Relations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting their 5-person Marketing team through creating communication plans, liaising with external relationships, and helping with event production. The ideal Public Relations Coordinator should be creative, analytical, and have strong relationship-building skills. You should be interested in public relations, influencer marketing, and social media management.

Responsibilities of the Public Relations Coordinator:

  • Create strategic communications plans for all events and launches
  • Draft and research PR recaps and a monthly newsletter
  • Oversee and manage press and influencer partnerships through the execution of coverage, launches, events, and product placements
  • Coordinate and research potential brand partnership relationships
  • Assist the Social Media Coordinator in sustaining their consumer and influencer relationships to ensure brand awareness
  • Support the Marketing Director in building their global brand strategy
  • Plan and create editorial content for the blog

Qualifications of the Public Relations Coordinator:

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in PR, social media management, or beauty/cosmetic experience is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and analytic skills
  • Interest in influencer relations, event planning, and public relations is required
  • Maintains an understanding of popular social media platforms and industry trends

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, or relevant experience is required
