Our client is a solutions company for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device companies. They are currently seeking a QA Associate to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$17/hr – $19/hr

Position Overview:

This QA Associate position is a temp-to-hire opportunity. This individual will perform material and product inspections (incoming, in-process, and finished products). The QA Associate is responsible for approving these items and recording quality results according to cGMP guidelines

Responsibilities of the QA Associate:

  • Perform material and product inspections
  • Perform line clearance activities in accordance with documented procedures. These activities include assuring that appropriate materials/products are present for a job, paperwork is reviewed and understood, line set-up complies with cGMP and company SOPs
  • Perform first piece inspection for conformance to written specifications and sample, and document the results of line clearance inspections performed
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs and verifying the same is completed by assembly personnel as required. Escalate non-conformance found during incoming inspections accordingly
  • Perform random and scheduled inspections of print, assembly, and kitting activities in accordance with documented procedures
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities including routinely reading, Wis, and operations work instructions
  • Reports all concerns and questions to management
  • Review reconciliation of product and/or components in assembly and fulfillment
  • Review and maintain all quality assurance inspection documentation and inspection logs
  • Review and maintain all quality system paperwork involved with incoming inspection

Qualifications of the QA Associate:

  • Must have at least 3 months of experience in a regulated industry
  • Working knowledge of cGMPs is highly preferred
  • Must have good communication skills and at least basic computer skills
  • Must have the ability to use a calculator to perform basic math functions and understand the concept of the same including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and computing ratios, rates, and percentages. 
  • Must follow standard operating procedures

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
