QC Inspector

Our client is a fast-paced, GMP-certified developer of consumer products. They are currently seeking a QC Inspector to join their team. The QC Inspector would work at the site which operates 24/7.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$21/hr – $25/hr + benefits DOE

Position Overview:

The QC Inspector will be contributing to the growth and profitability of the company. The QC Inspector will follow strict GMP protocol to ensure the products are meeting industry and company standards. The QC Inspector will review batch records, physically inspect finished goods, and work in a team setting.

Responsibilities of the QC Inspector:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with the company’s SOPs and cGMPs.
  • Oversee and approve the clearing of production lines for the startup of production.
  • Oversee that the requirements for Level I or Level II cleaning are met.
  • Execute validation activities as required by protocols and master batch records.
  • Perform swab testing on packaging equipment and samples as per multi-pak, client, certification, and cleaning validation requirements.
  • Verify that the correct bulk and components were issued.
  • Confirm that packaging is completed according to specifications.
  • Responsible for completing quality checks.
  • Collect and label client samples as specified on the master packaging specifications and master batch record for each lot. Collected samples must be issued to the quality office or when required, shipped with the finished product.
  • Carefully follow all safety and regulatory guidelines including GMP and OSHA.
  • Review logbooks for accuracy and completion.
  • Ensure product specifications are being met.
  • Perform and document in-process testing on the products.
  • Provide information to complete deviation reports and other QA documentation.
  • Perform basic mathematical functions and input information into the computer system.

Qualifications of the QC Inspector:

  • Related industry experience in a GMP regulated quality setting.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a new setting.
  • A positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to remain in the stationary position for up to 30% of the time.
  • Must be able to walk or stand up to 100% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate to all other departments and must be able to exchange accurate information in these circumstances.
  • Open to working flexible hours.
  • Must be fully vaccinated (Covid-19).

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
