Our client is a fast paced, GMP certified developer of consumer products regulated by the FDA. They have a diverse product line. They are seeking a QC Inspector to join their team! The location for this role is at their Production site which operates 24/7.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18 – $22/hr

Position Overview:

The QC Inspector will follow strict GMP protocol to ensure the products are meeting industry and company standards. The QC Inspector will review batch records, physically inspect finished goods and work in a team setting. There are positions open on 1st and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities of the QC Inspector:

  • Conduct approvals including line clearance and equipment checks for their respective shift
  • Carefully follow all safety and regulatory guidelines including GMP, FDA and OSHA
  • Review log books for accuracy and completion
  • Ensure product specifications are being met
  • Perform and document in process testing on the products
  • Provide information to complete deviation reports and other QA documentation
  • Perform basic mathematical functions and use various computer software including Quality Systems

Qualifications for the QC Inspector:

  • Experience as an Inspector in a regulated manufacturing setting that follows GMP in needed (Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products, Medical Device)
  • Needs a strong attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills
  • The ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a new setting
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to work 1st or 3rd shift

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree completed (or in process) is required
  • 2 years of related experience is acceptable if one does not have an associate’s degree
