QC Lab Technician

Our client, a well-respected New Jersey-based company that does a variety of chemical research, production and new development is looking for a QC Lab Technician to join their team. The QC Lab Technician will be contract to start, but ongoing.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $24/hr (Depending on experience)

Position Overview:

The QC Lab Technician will assist in assuring products meet quality requirements.

Responsibilities of the QC Lab Technician:

• Reviewing and approving batch records, quality documents including process master documentation, product specifications, change control documents, qualification documents, validation documents, and process related documents
• Ensuring procedures and training are in place to maintain certification
• Calibrating and maintaining lab instrumentation
• Following safety standards and regulations (GMP and GLP)
• Prepping, running, and analyzing data for product samples and raw materials
• Formulating new products and performing quality inspections
• Keeping a lab notebook and inputting data
• Chemical and/or physical properties testing
• Providing occasional administrative or clerical support

Qualifications for the QC Lab Technician:

• Ability to learn and adapt to changing environment
• Lab experience is a plus

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in related field (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
