Quality Assurance Manager

Our client, a global leading supplier in the pharmaceutical packaging industry is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to help grow and develop the Quality Assurance (QA) department.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $135k Based on experience

Position Overview:

A successful Quality Assurance Manager will bring and implement new protocols for the Quality Assurance (QA) team.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager:

• Provide quality oversight and support to pharmaceutical packaging operations across all phases for clinical trial medication
• Provide guidance for GMP product quality and compliance for product release, including resolution of product quality investigations, quality issues of a significant nature, and provide direction for product disposition decisions including shipment and storage
• Review batch data including batch records, deviations, in-process data, EM data, QC release testing, and other quality systems
• Implement and develop new safety protocols for pharmaceutical packaging
• Responsible for archival of batch records and other supporting documents
• Provide quality assurance support of change controls, GMP investigations, and CAPAs

Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Manager:

• 3 – 6 years of experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) pharmaceutical industry is ideal in a management or leadership capacity
• Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical packaging is highly desirable
• Experience with clinical trial packaging is desired
• Good communication and computer skills is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment essential ­

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or related science disciplines of Quality Assurance (QA)
