Our client, a global leading supplier in the pharmaceutical packaging industry is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to help grow and develop the Quality Assurance (QA) Department.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90,000 – $135,000

Position Overview:

A successful Quality Assurance Manager will bring and implement new protocols for the Quality Assurance (QA) team. The Quality Assurance Manager is primarily responsible for providing quality oversight and support to pharmaceutical packaging operations across all phases for clinical trial medication.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager:

  • Provide guidance for GMP product quality and compliance for product release, including resolution of product quality investigations and quality issues of a significant nature, and provides direction for product disposition decisions including shipment and storage
  • Review batch data, including batch records, deviations, in-process data, EM data, QC release testing and other quality systems
  • Implementing and developing new safety protocols for pharmaceutical packaging
  • Responsible for archival of batch records and other supporting documents
  • Provide QA Quality Assurance support of change controls, GMP investigations and CAPAs

Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Manager:

  • 3 to 6-year experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) pharmaceutical industry ideal in a management or leadership capacity
  • Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical packaging highly desirable
  • Experience with clinical trial packaging is desired
  • Good communication and computer skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment essential

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology or related science disciplines of Quality Assurance (QA) is required
