Our client is a property management group looking to hire a Receptionist for their Boston location.

Position Overview:

The Receptionist will be at the welcome desk and will be responsible for greeting guests and answering the phones. The Receptionist will assist with scheduling, answering questions, and ensuring that all guest interactions go smoothly.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Welcome guests and answer incoming calls
  • Direct visitors and guests to their appointment locations
  • Transfer and redirect incoming calls to various departments
  • Provide information for guests both over the phone and in person
  • Schedule and book appointments
  • Receive mail and sign for packages, including alerting departments of confidential mail received
  • General upkeep of the reception area including restocking supplies and organizing common spaces
  • Administrative support as needed, such as filing and copying

Qualifications for the Receptionist:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (ie. Office, Word, Excel)
  • At least 6 months of relevant professional experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
