Our client, a well-known insurance company, is seeking a full-time Receptionist.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $13/hr

Position Overview: This Receptionist position is a full-time position that meets Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist 

  • The Receptionist will answer calls and transfer the call to the appropriate department
  • Track all customer calls in Excel
  • Handle the switchboard and some minor claims support functions
  • Review notes and payments to assist callers
  • Assist callers and customers, take messages and direct to appropriate department when needed
  • Handle other administrative duties

Qualifications for the Receptionist:  

  • Ability to handle high call volume 
  • Previous experience in Customer Service preferred
  • Switchboard and claims experience preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills and working knowledge of Excel is a must

Education Requirements: 

  • High School or equivalent
