Our client, an elite and thriving private equity firm, is seeking a polished and professional Receptionist / Office Assistant to serve as the face of their midtown office and provide some additional administrative support. Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr – $23/hr / $40k – $55k DOE
Position Overview:
This fast-moving team is looking for a Receptionist / Office Assistant who can hit the ground running! This position sits at the front of the office so you will serve as the gatekeeper and the face of the firm. Additionally, the Receptionist / Office Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Office Manager with additional administrative projects such as scheduling and corresponding with the Executive Administrative team.
Responsibilities of the Receptionist / Office Assistant:
- Answer phones and direct calls, manage email in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide a high level of customer service and hospitality to visitors
- Coordinate the calendar for the conference rooms
- Order office supplies and monitor the budget
- Record meeting minutes for team meetings
- Assist in planning and executing company events and social gatherings
Qualifications of the Receptionist / Office Assistant:
- Minimum 1- 4+ years of experience in a similar position in a corporate environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Background in Finance or a related field is strongly preferred
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
